What we do

Two things, and they are the same thing

Software for businesses that bill recurring members, and the payment integrations that make the billing actually happen. Splitting those across two vendors is where most membership businesses lose money, so we do not.

Membership management software

Black Belt CRM

Billing, attendance, leads and retention reporting for businesses that bill recurring members. Martial arts schools first, and every other membership business since.

  • Recurring and non-monthly billing, with failed-payment recovery
  • Attendance, ranking and family accounts
  • Lead capture, trials and follow-up
  • Retention and revenue reporting across multiple locations

Gateway connectors, written here

Integrated payments

Card-present and virtual terminal flows wired straight into the member record. Payments are set up through us — a merchant account with our payment partner, and the encrypted gateway credentials that connect it to your members.

  • Virtual terminal and card-present flows
  • Set up once, as part of getting started — not a separate integration
  • Declines land on the member record, not in a file to reconcile
  • Receipts and cardholder screens in English and Spanish

Payments

The connector is the part we write

Payments are set up through Anexan: the business opens a merchant account with our payment partner, and we hold the encrypted gateway credentials that connect it to your members. So a card taken at the counter or through a virtual terminal lands on the member's record in the same transaction, with no nightly file to reconcile and no second system to log into.

The gateway is ours to choose, and that is the reason it works. A connector has to be written and kept working for every gateway it speaks to, so a vendor who accepts whichever one a customer arrives with is maintaining an integration per customer — which is how the join between payments and member records quietly stops being anybody's job. One gateway, matched to the merchant partner, is what makes it one piece of work instead.

Gateway
Third-party, and ours to choose

One gateway, matched to the merchant partner and integrated properly, rather than a different connector for every customer.

Recurring billing
Monthly, and everything that is not monthly

Paid-in-full terms, seasonal schedules and per-event fees — the billing shapes a membership business actually uses.

Failed payments
Recovered inside the member record

The decline, the member and the follow-up are one workflow rather than a report someone has to notice.

Cardholder screens
English and Spanish

Including receipts and response pages.
